2023 World Baseball Classic: Schedule, TV channel, live stream, WBC scores as Team USA reaches semifinals

Team USA is in the 2023 World Baseball Classic semifinals after ousting Venezuela in thrilling fashion on Saturday night. The United States won the quarterfinal matchup, 9-7, as Trea Turner hit a game-winning grand slam in the eighth inning. The U.S. faces Cuba on Sunday in the semifinals. Japan and Mexico square off in the other semifinal on Monday before Tuesday’s title game in Miami.

This version of the WBC was originally supposed to be played in 2021 but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Action got started on Wednesday, March 8 (technically first pitch of the 2023 WBC opener in Taiwan took place at 11 p.m. ET on March 7), and there will be a total of 47 games.
