Barcelona defeats Real Madrid basketball in the cup final

Barcelona had qualified for the King’s Cup final after defeating its rival Iberostar Tenerife in the semi-final match, with a score of 92-86, while Real Madrid had defeated Seguros Joventut in the semi-final, with a score of 93-81.

With this victory, Barcelona preserved the King’s Cup title in basketball for the second year in a row, when it defeated the royal team also, in a similar scenario (92-90).

Barcelona raised its tally from the Cup championship to 25 titles, coming second behind Real Madrid, which has 27 titles, and the winner of the last title two years ago.
