The parents of Captain Vikram Batra showed their reaction to Shershaah on the basis of the life of the late soldier. Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani were in charge of the film.

Speaking to a leading daily, the parents of Vikram Batra revealed that they authorized the casting of Sidharth and Kiara. They also talked about Dimple and whether she’s still in touch with him. Vikram’s father said, “She calls up on our respective birthdays around twice a year.”
He added that they always approved the relationship between Dimple and Vikram. “Until my child goes the wrong way, I’ve always been a liberal father. Vikram told us about Dimple and their marriage intention. I informed him I was deciding with them.
