Iguodala leads the “Warriors” to victory over the Lakers, in the absence of “The King”
LeBron James was unable to participate after feeling exhausted after playing 40 minutes with the Lakers on Thursday, while he missed 17 consecutive games due to a thigh injury.
Lakers coach Luke Walton believes James’ injury has not worsened and said the team star is expected to return when playing at the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday.
Despite the absence of James, the Lakers advanced by ten points in the third quarter and continued to excel, 89-88, after a successful throw by Ivica Zubach 11 minutes before the end.
But Shaun Livingston gave the Warriors the lead after 12 seconds before Iguodala hit three 3-pointers, making it 96-89 for the defending champions.
Stephen Curry did not score any points during the course of the game in the first 41 minutes, before he shone in the final minutes and scored two three-pointers to seal the victory for his team, according to Reuters.

Iguodala finished the meeting with 17 points compared to 14 points for his colleague Corey Lethar Warriors for losing at home to the Lakers on Christmas Day, while Klay Thompson topped the list of scorers with 28 points.
The Warriors achieved 12 wins in the last 13 games, to quickly return to the winning ways, after losing at home to the Philadelphia Seventy Sixers last Thursday.
