NBA DFS: Zion Williamson And Top DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks For April 24, 2021 – NewsOpener

Despite the fact that Nikola Vucevic has been as advertised since being traded from Orlando to Chicago at the NBA trade deadline, the Bulls haven’t gotten the results they desired, and with Zach LaVine out (health and safety protocols), they’ve now slipped to 11th in the East. However, Chicago got a 108-91 win over Charlotte on Thursday by using Vucevic as a conduit in the high post. He finished with 18 points, 16 rebounds and six assists in the win and NBA daily Fantasy players will be interested to see if he is used to initiate offense similarly on Saturday against the Heat.

However, Vucevic is far from the only big in the NBA DFS player pool worthy of consideration. Anthony Davis, Bam Adebayo, Karl-Anthony Towns, Nikola Jokic and Rudy Gobert are all scheduled to play on Saturday night and could make a significant impact in NBA DFS lineups. Before locking in any NBA DFS picks for Saturday’s action, be sure to see the NBA DFS advice, player rankings and top daily Fantasy basketball picks from SportsLine’s Mike McClure.

McClure is a DFS professional with nearly $2 million in career winnings. He’s also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every minute of every game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account.

This allows him to find the best NBA DFS values and create optimal lineups that he shares only over at SportsLine. They’re a must-see for any NBA DFS player.

And on Friday, McClure included Celtics forward Jayson Tatum as one of his top picks. The result: Tatum had 38 points, 10 rebounds and four assists, returning nearly six times his value on DraftKings. Anybody who had him in their lineup was well on the way to a profitable day.

Now, McClure has turned his attention to the Saturday, April 24 NBA DFS slate and locked in his top daily Fantasy basketball picks. You can only see them by heading to SportsLine.

Top NBA DFS picks for Saturday, April 24

One of McClure’s top NBA DFS picks for Saturday is Rockets guard Armoni Brooks at $3,800 on DraftKings and $4,200 on FanDuel. Brooks is an undrafted guard out of Houston who has worked his way up through the G-League to earn a two-way contract with the Rockets, where he’s proving to be a willing shooter for Stephen Silas.

Brooks is averaging 7.9 points per game and shooting 36.7 percent from the 3-point line in eight NBA games and has recently been moved into the starting lineup for Houston. Brooks has played at least 25 minutes now in each of his last four games and averaged 9.8 points and 5.0 rebounds per game during that span, while knocking down 12 shots from beyond the arc in that time. With the volume of 3-pointers he’s hoisting, he’s a high-upside scoring play for as long as he’s getting regular minutes.

Part of his NBA DFS strategy includes rostering Pelicans forward Zion Williamson ($10,100 on DraftKings, $9,700 on FanDuel). Williamson is averaging 26.9 points, 7.2 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game all while shooting 61.8 percent from the floor. But he’s been even more efficient of late, shooting 74.2 percent while scoring 28.0 points and snatching 7.0 rebounds on average over his last two contests.

Williamson and the Pelicans will take on the Spurs at home on Saturday night. On Feb. 27, Williamson had 23 points, 14 rebounds and five assists. Back on Dec. 27, he supplemented a rare poor shooting night (7-for-22 from the floor for 18 points) by snagging 11 rebounds, making five steals and blocking a shot. The 20-year-old superstar has enormous upside on a nightly basis, but DeMar DeRozan and Rudy Gay both being listed as questionable for San Antonio could leave the Spurs struggling to deal with him even more than usual in the frontcourt.
