NBC’s ‘Olympic Dreams Featuring the Jonas Brothers’ pits Joe, Kevin, and Nick against one another 2021
NBC Special Pits Joe, Kevin & Nick Against Another ‘Olympic Dreams featuring Jonas Brothers’ NBC is elevating sibling rivalry to Olympic proportions. Olympic Dreams Featuring the Jonas Brothers, an hour-long program scheduled for summer, puts Joe, Kevin, and Nick Jonas against one another, with assistance from some of Team USA’s greatest athletes.
Olympic Dreams premieres on Wednesday, July 21 at 8 p.m., only two days before the Opening Ceremony of the Tokyo Summer Games. The names of the commentators and Olympians from the United States who will be competing are still being finalized.
The Olympic Games are the world’s preeminent sporting tournament and the ultimate test of athleticism, with only the greatest athletes from around the world competing. For the three Jonas brothers, who grew up in Wycoff, New Jersey, becoming Olympians was a long-held ambition. And it was only thwarted by another ambitious goal: becoming a music sensation. After more than a decade as one of music’s greatest groups, the Jonas brothers are eager to demonstrate that they have what it takes to compete at the Olympic level.
Mike Yurchuk is the executive producer and showrunner for the NBC and Universal Television Alternative Studio — a subsidiary of Universal Studio Group — in collaboration with NBC Sports special. This summer, from July 23 to August 8, NBC will broadcast the Covid-delayed Games of the XXXII Olympiad from Tokyo.
Meanwhile, TMZ said late Sunday that Nick Jonas was injured while filming an unnamed TV show. Multiple inquiries to his representatives regarding whether he was wounded on Olympics Dreams have gone unanswered. When additional information becomes available, we will provide an update.
