Weighing in for Saturday’s light heavyweight main event, Reyes came in at 205.5 pounds and Prochazka at 204 pounds to make their bout official. All 12 fighters on the UFC Vegas 25 main card successfully made weight, including co-main event featherweights Cub Swanson (145.5) and Giga Chikadze (146).
Two fighters missed weight at the official weigh-ins, featherweight Gabriel Benitez and flyweight Luana Carolina. “Moggly” is dropping back down to the 145-pound division after a two-fight stint at lightweight, but weighed in at 150.5 pounds, 4.5 pounds over the limit (including a one-pound allowance for non-title bouts).
Carolina came in at 128.5 pounds, 2.5 pounds over the flyweight limit with the allowance.
Benitez’s opponent Jonathan Pearce successfully made weight at 146 pounds, as did Carolina’s opponent Poliana Botelho (125.5). It is not yet known if these bouts will proceed at a catchweight and if so, what percentage of Benitez and Carolina’s purse they will forfeit to Pearce and Botelho, respectively.
